The usual 2-3 days wait times for support are unfortunately more like 4-5 days right now. If you've given all the information that you can, they'll verify the account and get it unlocked as soon as they can. Yeah I'm not too worried about getting it back, I'm more thinking by the time I get it back I may have moved on to something else.

EDIT: Finally got my account unlocked on August 8th. Reason for locking it was "someone tried to login". That someone was me :D TLDR: Was greeted by "Account locked for security reasons, contact support" message over a week ago, the only response I've gotten was an automated "we have received your support ticket" email. I suspect its a hack that hijacks a clients identity in order to gain access to the accounts credentials and data. "Hackers have lists of email addresses and passwords stolen from other games and websites, and collected through spyware, and are systematically testing 'Guild Wars 2' looking for matching accounts,"
Hullo everyone! My email account was recently hacked and google activated a security measure that locks it up from ever accessing it. But thankfully it didn't include the mobile gmail app which led me to recover and screenshot my purchases and the necessary info that can make the whole issue more solvable.
I think what helped recover her account was the fact that we had email messages for a variety of things. For example: the exact date the account was activated, messages from ANet /ncsoft/etc to that old edress, login attempts from years ago, what card type (not the numbers) that paid for it, etc
Okay thank you, i had sent attachments showing my gw2efficiency account proving that the achievements were done and that the items themselves are no longer within it. I had hoped this was enough alongside the fact both the Experimental and Refined skins were in my wardrobe but apparantly that was not sufficient for them.
