Cutting off his hand — his sword hand, no less — shook his identity as a knight and soldier, which has forced him into more complex storylines. Now, he may be set to betray Cersei and fight
He's been wearing a prosthetic golden hand ever since. Helen Sloan/HBO. Fans spotted a photo on HBO's website of that clearly showed Jaime Lannister's right hand, despite it having been cut off in season three. This is not the first apparent editing oversight in season eight of "Game of Thrones."
Robert Baratheon marched upon the capitol after his victory at the Trident. But my father arrived first with the whole Lannister army at his back, promising to defend the city against the rebels. I knew my father better than that. He's never been one to pick the losing side. I told the mad king as much.
The Battle of Whispering Wood was an early major battle in the War of the Five Kings, which erupted after King Robert Baratheon's death. Leading a host of 18,000 Northern soldiers, Robb Stark means to confront the Westerlands troops in the Riverlands and relieve the forces loyal to his grandfather which have been under attack for some time. Tywin Lannister has split his forces into two armies
Interesting to think about. My impression of where things left off is that Jaime may now be a middling fighter with his left hand but he certainly would not yet be a match for "good" fighters. Also, just speculating (of course), but I don't think Brienne is headed right back to Stoneheart with Jaime. Jaime looked nervous for a split second and Ned looked determined . . . If the fight went on a little longer, Jaime would have went for the killing blow in a theatrical fashion to prove how much superior he is to Ned in front of his men . . . Ned would have dodged/reversed it on him and beheaded him in a single blow. kJsrVA. 42 131 64 382 301 225 169 153 337
